Pune International Centre
Pune has long been recognized as a city of learning, scholarship, and progressive thinking. With a rich
legacy in art, culture, education, law, science, engineering, politics, trade, commerce, manufacturing, and
knowledge-based services, Pune continues to be a hub of intellectual and professional excellence.
Despite its wealth of thought leaders across various fields, the city lacked a dedicated platform for
enlightened discussions, debates, and idea exchange—a space where great minds could collaborate on shaping
the future of Pune, India, and the world.
To address this need, a meeting of esteemed personalities—including (Late) B.G. Deshmukh and (Late) Mohan
Dharia—was held on October 24, 2010.
